Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI)
Descriptions of current MBARI research projects involving deep-sea animals and deep-sea technology.

PBS Scientific Frontiers "Beneath the Sea"
Online version of the PBS show "Beneath the Sea" that aired in 2002. Alan Alda joins explorer Bob Ballard for a look at the technologies that have opened up the farthest reaches of the ocean, and he visits the Monterey Bay Aquarium. You can view the video of the program online.
Includes "Living in the Sea" online interactive to place animals in the right deep-sea zone. Also includes teacher resources.
